Petroleum cost to increment on Wednesday
Division of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) reported that beginning from Wednesday, fourth of August there will be an expansion in the cost of petroleum.
The office says the two grades of 95 (ULP and LRP) and 93 (ULP and LRP) will increment by 91 pennies.
The new cost for petroleum will be R18.20 pennies a liter, beginning from tomorrow.
Diesel increments by 55 pennies for each liter and a liter of paraffin will cost 50 pennies more.
In a proclamation, the DMRE said the normal global item costs for petroleum, diesel and enlightening paraffin expanded during the period under survey.
“The Rand depreciated against the US Dollar during the period under review, on average, when compared to the previous period,” it said.
